We also offer a “Sled & Shred” AIARE Level 1 Hybrid Access course for backcountry skiers and splitboarders using snowmobiles to explore advanced terrain.

    Hybrid Access AIARE Avalanche Courses

    Hybrid Access/ Sled & Shred avalanche training course incorporates a hybrid model of motorized (snowmobile) and touring access. It includes key insights specific to both motorized and human-powered backcountry travel, discussions, and exercises for planning and moving through avalanche terrain with snowmobiles and ski/splitboard.
